Haiku is a handheld application that focuses on a physician’s workflows. Features are focused on assessing the patient and physicians can do all of these activities whether they are in the clinic, in the hospital, or on the go! It is designed for use with Apple iPhone® or iPod touch® and Android smartphones.
You can easily view information from past encounters as well as the current encounter. Encounter reports can be unique to outpatient or inpatient visits and can detail visit details, reason for visit, admission details, notes, orders, etc. Haiku displays reports and print groups built specially for Haiku.
The E-Prescribing activity allows you to e-prescribe simple outpatient orders from Haiku.
Available for iOS only.
This module allows you to take a picture or video using a mobile device. Media types include:
The Charge Capture activity allows you to quickly enter charges for a patient, which may be helpful when rounding in non-Epic facilities. The workflow is optimized for the efficient entry of the E/M charges that make up the considerable majority of rounding charges, and does not rely upon the presence of encounter data in the system.
Available for iOS only.
The Dictation activity allows you to dictate a progress note or letter on a patient. The dictations are then temporarily stored on the device until you are ready to send it to be transcribed. Completed transcriptions will be available in Hyperspace the same as if the partial dictation was done in Hyperspace!
Available for iOS only.
The Notes Entry activity allows you to create plain text progress notes, H&P notes, and letters from your mobile devices. Notes Entry also provides integration with Speech-to-Text functionality.
Available for iOS only.
The Schedule activity allows you to view appointments and surgeries for which they are scheduled. The schedule displays results for the provider associated with the logged in user or from the user's default folder from the multiple provider schedule.
The In Basket activity is intended for you to keep in touch with your In Basket messages when Hyperspace is not accessible. The purpose is to supplement use of Hyperspace, rather than replace Hyperspace In Basket.
